What maps to what
Why we will not do the same thing
GummySearch could not reach an agreement aligned with Reddit's data-API policies. We hold registered API access under a commercial agreement, we honour deletions within 24 hours, and we publish a public notice to redditors explaining what we hold and how to have it removed.
That is what is true about the data path. What we will not tell you is that it makes us permanent — if our access were ever revoked we would have to delete the Reddit-derived corpus, and that obligation is written into our terms rather than hidden from them.
